What do sick visits mean?

Sick visits are when you go to the doctor, a practitioner, or an urgent care facility to address symptoms that are new or worsening or medical conditions. Usually, you arrange a sick visit to take care of an urgent injury or condition. However, a diagnosis of a chronic illness that you may not have recognized you had prior to your appointment can come about as a result of certain sick visits.

Before beginning a focused physical exam during a routine sick visit at Mujtaba NP, the practitioner will ask you about your health history. You should be as specific as you can when describing your symptoms and how long they have lasted.
